Disease, infection and, eventually, tooth loss. Endodontic problems are very serious, and should be treated as soon as possible.
How is root damage fixed?
Typically, you will have to undergo a root canal. This is a procedure where an opening is created in your tooth, the infection is cleaned out and the tooth is sealed against further infection. While no one wants to undergo a root canal, it is the best way to prevent significant future dental problems.
